 Excellent Software Functionality I have reviewed many directory programs and which most all of them went so far as options.Directory Report in my opinion covers any thing imaginable to man kind.  Good enough but needs a better user interface In my opinion this useful software needs a more sophisticated user interface to gain satisfaction and usability level improvements.First of all the interface should reflect changes user does directly on the file system such as when deleting a folder through Windows Explorer.In second instance I would suggest some tree organization when showing data. Let's imagine when and why a user should use a software like this... I think is the case when you have a huge amount of files and folders to consolidate, perhaps some very old and going by memory doesn't help. In these cases you need ...

Directory Report Review I wanted to print the directory structure of one of our internal installation CD-ROMs in a tree format. The only option I found so far didn't allow me to out put it in the format I'm uses to. I ususally create the txt file from a tree comand in DOS but couldn't out put hidden folders. I thought I would try your application because it also advertised functionality to use check sums for comparison of data. That would be helpful if I can figure out how to do it.  Extremely simple to install and execute. Had my output in less than 2 minutes.
 Not what I`m looking for I was looking for a tool that would report on all Folder within a Project without the subfolder within them. This tool did not accomplish meet that requirement.
Ok, but not what I needed I was hoping to find a utility that reported the shares from VSS. This didn't do it in an effective format. In fact I found what I was looking for but at no cost. Reporting in plain text really has no added value.
